Giving Opportunities
Giving Opportunities
Temple Beth El is sustained by the generosity of members and friends who support the life of our congregation.
While donors may choose to support specific programs or initiatives, the most impactful gifts are those made to the General Fund, which provides the flexible resources needed to sustain the full life of the synagogue.
General Fund
The General Fund supports the core life of Temple Beth El and helps make possible the programs, services, and activities that bring our community together.
Contributions to the General Fund help sustain:
- Shabbat and holiday services
- Religious school and lifelong learning
- Community events and celebrations
- Pastoral care and lifecycle support
- Security and building maintenance
- The work of our clergy and professional staff
Because these gifts are unrestricted, they allow Temple Beth El to respond to the evolving needs of the congregation and community.
Designated Funds
For donors who wish to support a specific area of synagogue life, Temple Beth El maintains a limited number of designated funds.
These funds allow contributions to be directed toward particular programs or priorities while complementing the broader work supported by the General Fund.
